英語や韓国語を中心とした語学や外国の文学について広く学ぶことを通して、多様な文化背景を意識したコミュニケーション力を高めていきます。卒業後は、多様な文化をもつ人々とのコミュニケーション力が求められる社会で活躍します。

語学・文学に加え英語教育について学びます。中学生や高校生の「英語力」を高めることができるよう、模擬授業を中心とした実践的な学びを行います。卒業後は中学校や高等学校の教育に関わる人材として活躍します。
授業紹介
- Presentation Skills
- Everyone makes presentations! This class will teach you the basic skills to make great English presentations. You need a good message (topic), a strong voice, good body language (gestures), and eye contact. All of those skills are important, and this class will help you practice those skills. You will make great presentations in English from the skills learned in this class!
- Critical Thinking and Discussion
- This is a higher level class that practices Debate. One student finds an opinion s/he likes, and another student disagrees. When you debate, you criticize opinions and reasons to build a stronger argument! If you disagree, there are different steps you must take to be a good critical thinker, and a good debater! Don't be shy in this class! All opinions are interesting!
- 英語科教育法Ⅳ
- 中学校及び高等学校学習指導要領の基本的な知識とパフォーマンス評価等を含む評価のあり方について理解する等、生徒の特性・習熟度に対応した授業指導に向けて実践的な指導の仕方を学びます。
